PVC Derating

Urecon U.I.P.® pre-insulated CPVC pipe substantially reduces the heat loss of central hot water distribution systems. Pre-insulated CPVC pipe is available in Schedule 40 and 80. If used in water service hotter than 23°C (73.4 °F), the pressure rating of the pipe must be corrected as follows:
